Veronica Barry is a PhD candidate from the University of Birmingham. Veronica has over 20 years experience in various urban and rural agricultural projects and settings, including: Surrey Docks City Farm, Tolhurst Organics (a local box scheme), establishing Sandwell’s public health driven urban agriculture programme. This included the creation of a three acre Drive Market Garden from derelict land into a model of therapeutic and local food schemes that deliver vegetables to over 70 households each week.
Refreshments will be provided. Places are limited and booking is essential to avoid disappointment.
